A Music-Filled Service

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; ……”

Psalm 98:4

Yes, we will do so, this Sunday, May 6. 10:30 a.m.

What’s for supper?

Here at United Church, we are proud of our tradition of holding a free community supper on the third Friday of every month. We strongly believe that this is a meaningful and important service to our community. And we think that our town is feeling that way, too.

How is this for evidence? I just took a phone call here at the church. The caller asked if we know what is on the menu for the Third Friday Community Supper. In June.

While I couldn’t answer that question, I can state with complete confidence that if you join us this month, on May 18, you will be served chicken pot pie, fruit, cake and ice cream and a beverage.

Dinner is served from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, May 18. See you there!

What’s a Baccalaureate Ceremony?

This special event is as important as the graduation ceremony.

Graduation Ceremonies are about caps and gowns and handshakes and recognition for achievements – but in addition, Two Harbors has marked graduation with a religious service to focus on your personal growth and your calling in life.

Commencement is the main event – but Baccalaureate focuses on the meaning and values behind it all.

Come to bless the youth of our community
as they take the leap into adulthood.
