The days are getting shorter and we are heading in October already — that is just nuts! Speaking of nuts, the annual UCTH nut/candy sale is in high gear! There are some changes from past years, see below:
Everything will be pre-ordered and pre-paid. There will be no extra bags to pick up later. Our nut vendor is now allowing “per bag” sales which means we don’t have to buy a whole case of something. This means that we can offer the entire Terri Lynn line up, and some of the things that you haven’t seen for awhile are available again, like spicy party mix and mixed yogurt raisins!
There will be no coffee, tea or chocolate bars offered at this time! Equal Exchange has changed their policy to allow “by the case” purchase only, making it too risky for us to order items without a way to sell the extras. You can order from them directly at www.equalexchange.coop. We might look at doing a coffee/tea/chocolate sale in the spring.
Orders will be due October 12 with full payment. Checks should be made out to UCTH with “nuts” on the memo line. Please include your phone number so that we can contact you regarding your order and to confirm delivery dates. Mail them to the church at 531 3rd Ave or drop them in the church mail slot.
We expect the products to be distributed the week of November 16, but that is entirely dependent upon our vendor’s shipping schedule.
Order pick up this year will be a near contactless event. We will be delivering them to you in the church parking lot so that no one will need to enter the church. If you cannot make it during the delivery dates, please call the office and we will contact you about an alternate delivery date.
Because there will not be “extras” this year, take a bit of time to ponder the wonderful array of goodies, and perhaps get a head start on your Christmas gift list and Holiday baking needs. We have included all the descriptions provided by the vendor.
If you need order forms or a catalog, please call the church at 218-834-4257 and we will get them to you.
Thanks for your continued support of UCTH and the projects made possible through the nut sale profits!
